Terms & Conditions

The following terms and conditions apply to all transactions at GameCollector.co.uk. You will be required to confirm you accept the terms and conditions when placing an order.

Product Descriptions

All images, specifications and descriptions are for the purpose of giving an approximate description of our products. We always try to make sure that the information given on our site is as up to date as possible but we cannot guarantee that this will always be the case. If you require further information, please contact me prior to placing an order and I will answer any questions.

Pricing & Payment

The total price payable for the goods and postage will be displayed prior to completing your purchase. We are entitled to make adjustments to the price if it is due to an error or omission whether or not the order has been confirmed. This should be a rare occurrence and we will contact you promptly to either refund you or charge the correct amount.

Payment Methods

We accept payment via PayPal however a PayPal account is not required. Please ensure your payment information is correct to avoid possible delays. Your order will be processed once notification of payment has been received.

Availability of Goods

All our goods are subject to availability and may be withdrawn at any time. If we are unable to fulfil your order for any reason, we will not charge you for it, or will refund you if you have already paid. We are not responsible for compensating you for any other losses you may suffer if we do not supply the goods.

Delivery Charges

All prices on our website include delivery charges. I use Royal Mail 1st Class Large Letter for individual games, 2nd Class if the order total is less than £5 and 1st Class Signed For if the order total is more than £20. For parcels over 2kg, I use Collect+ Economy Tracked.

Delivery Times

In general, orders are dispatched within one working day (Monday-Friday) of receiving cleared payment. Orders which arrive after Noon on Friday or over the weekend will be dispatched the following Monday or Tuesday. You have the right to cancel before the order has been dispatched if you cannot wait for delivery.


Once we have delivered the goods to your door you are responsible for them. I will only deliver goods to the address PayPal supplies me with. If your parcel is lost or damaged, I will refund you in full. I may require a photo of damage caused in carriage so I can claim for the damage from Royal Mail/Collect+.

Product Guarantees

I test all goods to make sure they work before they are listed on the site (unless stated otherwise). As goods are sometimes several decades old, faults may arrive suddenly, in transit or as the result of ageing hardware combining with ageing discs/carts. I offer a 30 day guarantee on any goods sold (unless listed as faulty/damaged). This guarantee specifically excludes faults caused by accident, neglect, or misuse. This does not affect any statutory rights you may have.


If your goods arrive and you feel they do you meet the description shown on our website (photos or descriptive text), you have the right to cancel your order within 7 working days from date of delivery for a full refund.

It is your responsibility to return any such items in the condition in which they arrived. You will be wholly responsible for the return of the goods and any associated costs of return.

Goods received back incomplete, damaged or in any condition other than saleable, will be returned to you and the cost of return carriage charged to your account.

Prior to returning any products, please contact us within 7 days from the date of delivery. If you do not return goods within 7 days after you have informed us that you wish to cancel your order, your right to cancel will be withdrawn.


The terms and conditions shown above do not affect your statutory rights. We will treat each order for goods as an offer by you to purchase the goods subject to the terms and conditions as detailed above.
